Efes Snooker Club – review of premises license

December 5, 2012

The Metropolitan Police have applied to Hackney’s Licensing Committe to review the premises licence of the Efes Snooker Club, situated in the upstairs of a converted cinema at 17b Stoke Newington Road, on the grounds of the prevention of crime and disorder.

The Efes Snooker club is one of the largest-capacity night-time venues in the area.

If you want to give evidence in relation to this review, email licensing@hackney.gov.uk with the name of the premises and/or its address in the subject line of your email. The deadline for evidence is December 26th, 2012.

Your evidence is most likely to be taken seriously if it directly addresses the objectives of Hackney’s Licensing Policy. The four main objectives of the policy are:

• Prevention of crime and disorder
• Public safety
• Prevention of public nuisance
• Protection of children from harm.
