Dalston Pizza (aka Voodoo Ray’s/Dance Tunnel) seeks longer hours

An application has been submitted by Dalston Pizza, of 95 Kingsland High Street, for ‘variation of premises licence for live music from 20:00 to 02:00am Sun to Tue, 20:00 to 03:00am Wed to Fri and from 20:00 to 04:00am Sat, recorded music and supply of alcohol from 12:00 to 02:00am Sun to Tue, 20:00 to 03:00am Wed to Fri and from 20:00 to 04:00am Sat, late night refreshment from 23:00 to 02:00am Sun to Tue, 23:00 to 03:00am Wed to Fri and from 23:00 to 04:00am Sat.’
These premises are the home of Voodoo Ray’s Pizza, on the ground floor, and a club named the Dance Tunnel in the basement.This application, if grant4ed, would extend the hours for alcohol consumption from 00.30am Mon-Wed  to 2.00am on Tuesday and 3.00am on Wednesday; and from 2.30am Thurs-Sat  to 3.00 am on Friday and 4am on Saturday. In other words, the licensed hours would go up from midnight to 3 a.m. on weekdays from 2.30 a.m. to 4 a.m at weekends. It should be noted that the wardens who patrol the area at weekends stop work at 4 a.m.
