Kingsland Food and Wine – licence in question

March 7, 2014

The Kingsland Food and Wine Off License at 77 Kingsland High Street have applied for an extension of their alcohol license until midnight at weekends.

Meanwhile, the Metropolitan Police have applied to the Council to review the existing premises license of Kingsland Food and Wines on the ground of the prevention of crime and disorder and public nuisance.

The deadline for objections for the application to extend the license is March 13th, 2014.

The deadline for commenting on the Police application to review the premises license is March 25th, 2014

If you want to comment on either of these applications, email licensing@hackney.gov.uk with the name of the premises and/or its address in the subject line of your email.

Your objection is most likely to be taken seriously if it directly addresses the objectives of Hackney’s Licensing Policy. The four main objectives of the policy are:

• Prevention of crime and disorder
• Public safety
• Prevention of public nuisance
• Protection of children from harm.
