License application for Asorock Express, 7 Bradbury Street

February 5, 2015

An application has been submitted for a premises licence to allow supply of alcohol from 12:00 to 23:00 daily at 7 Bradbury Street, currently an establishment selling takeaway food, and located right at the heart of the Dalston Special Policy Area (SPA) area, recognised by Hackney Council and the Metropolitan police as being adversely affected by late-night noise and antisocial behaviour. Bradbury Street already has a large number of other licensed premises and there is a long record of local residents being kept awake at night and disturbed by noise and anti-social behaviour.

If you wish to object to this application, write to licensing@hackney.gov.uk with the address of the premises in the subject line. The deadline is February 24th, 2015.

Your objection is most likely to be taken seriously if it directly addresses the objectives of Hackney’s Licensing Policy. The four main objectives of the policy are:

• Prevention of crime and disorder
• Public safety
• Prevention of public nuisance
• Protection of children from harm.
