Yet another attempt to turn Bradbury Street into an open-air drinking zone

July 22, 2015

An application has been made by Gujarati Rasoli, of 9/10c Bradbury Street,  for a ‘variation of premises licence to remove condition 25 “Patrons will not be allowed to take drinks, glasses or open containers outside of the premises at any time”‘.

This would effectively mean that what is currently a restaurant would become yet another supply of alcohol and takeaway food for people to consume on the street in what is already recognised as a hot-spot for anti-social behaviour in the heart of the Dalston SPA.

The deadline for objections is August 13th, 2015

If you wish to object to this application, write to with the address of the premises in the subject line.

Your objection is most likely to be taken seriously if it directly addresses the objectives of Hackney’s Licensing Policy. The four main objectives of the policy are:

• Prevention of crime and disorder
• Public safety
• Prevention of public nuisance
• Protection of children from harm.
