Because of boundary changes, since May, 2014, the Rio Cross Area falls into two different wards with a boundary at Crossway/Shacklewell Lane: South of this line is Dalston Ward. North of it is Shacklewell Ward.
In Dalston Ward our representatives are now:
Soraya Adejare: Soraya.Adejare@Hackney.gov.uk
Peter Snell: Peter.Snell@hackney.gov.uk
In Shacklewell Ward our representatives are now:
Michelle Gregory: Michelle.Gregory@Hackney.gov.uk
Richard Lufkin: Richard.Lufkin@hackney.gov.uk
Our local MP is Diane Abbott – see her website http://www.dianeabbott.org.uk/
Hackney Council now employs wardens to patrol the area on Friday and Saturday nights with a mission to curb anti-social behaviour related to the night-time economy. They can be contacted by phone on 020 8356 6867 or by email on firstname.lastname@example.org
